Episode 13: How To Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone By Turning Fear Into Excitement

“A comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing ever grows there.” - John Assaraf

Life is full of endless possibilities and opportunities but stepping out of our comfort zones can be difficult & scary. Every day we are compelled to make a series of decisions. The moment we open our eyes in the morning, we have to decide what we’ll have for breakfast, what we’re going to wear and a lot of stuff until we go to bed. We always end up choosing the same things that we’re comfortable with. We’re so afraid to make a decision that is not what we’re used to. Why? Because our minds foresee negative results and that creates fear within us.

I recently had a really fun experience when I had my nails done. I realized how perplexed I was to try on something new thinking it was something not to my liking but ended up loving it when I decided to get out of my comfort zone. See? As simple as changing the kind of nails that I’m used to having had a great impact on me. This is what I’d like to talk about in this episode. I wanted to share how to get out of your comfort zone by turning fear into excitement.
