Episode 9: How Choosing the Right Career Can Help Align You With Your Selfcare Goals

What is your definition of selfcare?

‘Self-care’ has become a buzzword, and some people see it as an indulgence or a reward for a job well done. But self-care – as defined by Tony Robbins is regularly doing things for yourself that makes you feel good. When you start taking care of yourself, you’ll find yourself feeling happy and better able to help others. Without regular self-care, you’ll find yourself more vulnerable to illnesses and easily succumbing to stress.

I understand that finding a fulfilling job can be a long, incremental journey especially now that a lot of change is happening in the world. So I thought it would be timely to talk about careers & selfcare. In this week's episode I shared the story on why I decided to switch careers and how it had helped my selfcare. Listening to this podcast will surely make you realize some things & hopefully help you find a career(just like me!)that is aligned with your selfcare goals.
