PREPPING FOR YOUR LASH EXTENSIONS

Thank you for choosing Elevate Lash Lounge Inc., the premier lash lounge in the Kootenay's! We are excited to show you how lash extensions can be used to enhance your unique facial features. Here are a few tips on how to prepare for your new lashes before your visit.

BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Please note that we are a busy studio- it is recommended to book well advance for a full set of lash extensions to ensure availability.

Please book your appointment using our online Booking page for your new set of lash extensions- if you have trouble booking online or are extremely sensitive and are unsure if you will react to the lash adhesive please email Jenna@elevatelash.ca or DM us to schedule a patch test at least 3 days before your scheduled full set of lash extensions.

Lashfill appointments will be required approximately 3 weeks after your fresh full set of lash extensions and should be scheduled at the time of initial appointment to ensure studio availability promptly, if you do not get into the studio before 4 weeks you will be required to book in for another full set so please book your lash fills well in advance.

To respect the time of our artists and waitlist clients, we require a minimum of 5 day notice for cancellations & changes to appointments (with exception to permanent make-up bookings). Please email Jenna@elevatelash.ca or DM us if you need to reschedule or change your appointment time. Note that cancellations/rescheduling under 5 days will be charged 50% of the service cost.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

To maximize your lash time and retention, we recommend:

• That you come to your lash appointment without mascara and avoid wearing waterproof mascara 3 days before your appointment. Coming in to your appointment with mascara will make it impossible for us to guarantee how long your lash extension will last.

Note: If you come in with mascara, your appointment WILL BE CANCELED automatically. It is impossible for us to provide you a quality service in the time provided for your appointment, so please ensure you remove your mascara prior to your appointment.

You can reschedule your appointment where you can come in without mascara for guaranteed retention but you have to pay for the 50% cancellation fee.

• You do not consume liquids immediately before your appointment or caffeine the day of.
• Avoid spray tanning before your appointment (after ok)
• You bring your contact case and solution and arrive a little bit early so that you are prepared to remove your contacts before your lash extension application appointment.
• Avoid oily facial serums & lotions that can affect the lash adhesive retention within 24 hours.

Please avoid tanning bed & direct water/steam exposure for 3 days AFTER your lash extension appointment, the slower your lash adhesive cures the less brittle the bond will be and this will result in better lash retention. This is crucial to achieving the best results!

ON YOUR APPOINTMENT DAY

Relax… you are in good hands! We are highly rated, professionally trained by industry leaders, insured and approved by the Interior Health Authority. To ensure you are comfortable during your service, please ensure you:

• Have a light snack 20 to 30 minutes before your appointment

• Avoid caffeine the day of your lash appointment so your eyes don’t twitch, use the washroom beforehand and avoid drinking fluids immediately before your appointment so we can maximize your lash time

• Wear comfortable & cozy clothing that you can lay down in for an extended period of time
