Jenna: I get asked all the time. Is it really worth offering brow lamination and lash lift services? There's a lot of studios out there who do not properly implement or market. Services to their clientele. So they do them and they don't find them to be very profitable or have a lot of success with customer satisfaction.
But I think the way that this service is approached marketed, and also the type of product line that you're using. To produce the results and whether they're consistent or not and all that. So in this video, I'm going through all that stuff. I definitely think that every single lash artist should be trained in lash lift and brow lamination.
If you have an inclination to detailed work and symmetry learning brow work is going to be relatively easy for you. It's also gonna switch up your services. So things are gonna become more interesting through you throughout the day. I know that when we first start doing lashes and we really love it.
You think you can do lashes forever, but trust me, after a couple years of 12 hour days of lashes, you wanna do a couple brows in there. just switch it up a little bit. And also you can offer a lot more variety to your clients, which they will like, and it will enhance your lash extension services because.
Everyone loves to have like nice brows framing their lashes. And so once you are able to provide that to your clients as well, um, it just like ups your game a lot. So if you're not con already offering these services, listen to this. And maybe if you have already implemented, but you aren't finding success in it.
Uh, check this video out because you're definitely doing something wrong. You're missing something and I'm gonna help you go through that and make sure that you are finding the what's going wrong so that you can fix it and provide better service for your clients and make more money. So everyone should be using lash lift in conjunction with lash extensions, because not everyone is a great candidate for lash extensions.
That's the first thing lash extensions are maintained. They have to be in there every two to three weeks. And we all know not everyone's budget can do that, but also some client's schedules cannot do that. There are also people who have allergies. There are also people who have rubbing or picking habits that are just never going to be able to have lash, extensions and lash extensions are actually gonna create damage caused by picking and rubbing.
And so those are the kind of clients who will do much better, usually with a lash lift. That's not to say that you should be marketing lash lifts to every client. I think that this is why lots of studios fail in their implication of lash lifts. Because when you are marketing a lash lift to a client who is not a good candidate for a lash lift, and that client has a bad experience with that, that ruins.
The service that word of mouth also gets around, especially if you live in a smaller town like we do. So it's best to like really try and coach your client to the best service for them. So in my actual listing for lash lips, I just tell people if you have thin or sparse lashes don't book in for this service, You might not be happy with it, and I'm not going to guarantee that you are going to be liking it because it's not like lash extensions.
My favorite way to describe a lash lift is it is like a push-up bra for what you already have. And lash extensions are like breast implants. So if you don't have a lot to begin with and you push something up, it doesn't look like very much. Right. Kind of like me, maybe. So someone who wants a more dramatic look who has got something small happening, maybe wants some, something a little bit more substantial than a lift and they should go for a lash extension.
That would definitely be my choice too, but there are a lot of girls. Big long, natural lashes. And especially, you'll find these are the clients that are like 16, 17, 18, the younger girls who have oilier skin, it's gonna be harder for them to keep lash extensions on their face. And let's be real. Those girls also have a million more lashes than someone who's like 30 or something.
And so sometimes those girls are way happier. Once they get into something like a lash lift that they only have to do every six to eight weeks, they already have super gorgeous, long, thick lashes. And they only have to like maybe put on a tiny little bit of mascara to have an extension look, whereas someone who's older, maybe 40 fifties onwards, the older we get the worse density in our lashes.
Usually is with our changing hormones. So that client might not be so great if you're marketing to every single client, that this is like a great service or gonna be fixing them, you're going to come across clients who aren't satisfied and you want to make sure every client is satisfied. And the first way to do that is by.
Sifting out whether they are a good candidate or not for a service. So really qualifying your clients in your booking system is going to be the best way to eliminate them picking the wrong service, but also the best way for you to find the best clients for a lash lift or brow lamination. So brown lamination is a little different brown lamination.
The best clients have. That have hair growth, maybe in a non-optimal direction or blondes are also amazing candidates for bra eliminations, because you are able to create so much more density and symmetry by shifting around the hair and Alon client generally doesn't know. That they are going to have such a good result.
So it's really shocking for them. And it really provides a lot of drama that they otherwise usually wouldn't think that they could get with service like this. And most of these clients would be looking at getting permanent makeup, possibly, which doesn't always work for everyone's skin type. Right. So someone can want that fluffy brow look with hairs strokes.
They could have super oily skin or not wanting to spend like 800,000 bucks sometimes what it is to actually go in and see a. Experienced nano artists. So this is something they can do instead. That is gonna look awesome and is going to not be super scary. It's not gonna fade over time. The color is not going to shift like lots of permanent makeup does.
They can have that look when they want it to be dramatic, but they can also go back to their natural, which it does appeal to a lot of our clientele, especially when they're building trust. And so as you are evolving in your career, and maybe you do take permanent makeup, this is a great way for you to be developing those clients while you're waiting to develop the skills to do like nano or something like that in a more permanent way.
So who is not a great candidate for brow lamination, that would definitely be, people have like no hair at all, or like very, very big chunks missing out of their brows. Like whole sections, because that will highlight. What's not there. People who already have like super perfect brows. Sometimes their brows don't change as much as people who have a lot of asymmetry or, uh, irregular growth patterns in their brows.
So those people might not have as much of a dramatic transformation, but honestly, with brow lamination, pretty much everyone can benefit from. And the best part about it is that it can provide a longer lasting result than henna brows or a regular tint, because if you are able to tint the skin, that's great.
But if you're able to rearrange the hair growth so that you achieve that symmetry, like we do in this before and after here, then you can. Really built that for a longer time for your client because the hairs are rearranged. Right? So in any service where you're tinting the skin, um, I know there's a lot of services right now that are claiming they can tint the skin for six to eight weeks.
I would say that's just like hooey because you're only tinting the top layer of the skin. So there's, it's impossible to have that pigment stay below, like where we're implanting pigment with cosmetic tattooing for a longer period of time. Up to 14 days because the first layers of the skin, as you see in this, uh, diagram here where the pigment, those are temporary and they exfoliate on a normal basis.
So you can have your client come in and exfoliate their brows beforehand and then moisturize afterwards. But those layers they're temporary. They do not stay for six to eight weeks on anyone. So the way that you can get a longer lasting, fuller brow for your client and up their satisfaction, if they're doing a brow tint or even henna for a longer amount of time is to rearrange the structure of their hair growth so that when you're tinting, the thing that actually can keep the tint in their, the hair of the brow versus the skin can keep that tin for up to more like six to eight weeks.
Cuz it grows out with the hair. If you have faster hair growth, maybe four to six weeks, but some clients more, six to eight weeks with slower hair growth, they'll find that they have that longer lasting tinted result because you are able to have that restructuring of the hair. And that's what holds the color and the shape for the client.
Not. The skin tint that henna or brow tint traditionally provides. So if you were doing services already like henna and like brow tinting, regular brow tinting, and you have regular clientele that do like these services, you should be really learning brow lamination and implementing that in your line of services, because if you were not.
Um, you're missing out on a way to actually elevate the services a little bit more for your client, make it a little bit more longer lasting, um, create that permanent makeup look of that full Offy brow that everyone is craving right now without have having to spend years and years of practice doing nano and spending.
Many thousands of dollars, getting your training in that without having the additional complications of permanent makeup and just being able to service your client in that way, it, it really does elevate your services. And if you're not having anyone ask for this service, now it's likely because you are not promoting it and your client doesn't know that it's going to be better for them.
And when you are educating your client, that this is a possibility for them, that they are going to love even more then of course they don't know they want it. And if you are not providing this service because there's not demand in your area, then I'll just tell you, you are likely in a smaller town.
Like we are - what happens in smaller towns is that the city really is on the cutting edge of trends. Usually. And there's a little bit more of a higher fashion that happens there. There is a lot more of a competitive environment on beauty trends and aesthetics. What happens in cities that don't happen as in small towns at the same rate of pace, we're simply living different lifestyles in different areas.
And so the bigger cities usually hop on these trends right away. And if it's popular in the city guaranteed, it's going to come to your town. It's just, are you going to be the first person known to do this? Are you going to be an industry leader or are you gonna wait for everyone to be doing it? And then be like, okay, I guess I'm gonna do brow lamination.
Everyone's asking for it now and everyone's doing it because in my experience, it's better to be before. It's better to be first and be the industry leader than the guy following at the back of the pack. So if you're not already offering these services or you haven't implemented them and they're successful, please reach out to.
D me on Instagram. Seriously. I'd love to coach you and work through this implementation of brow, lamination and lash lift in your business or help you fix things that aren't going. Ideally, because if this isn't a staple part of your business, that you are finding clients are loving. There's a bigger problem at hand.
And I've been there before too. I've had challenges implementing this. I've had customers that Aren. Satisfied. And I've had to make a lot of changes and learn along the way, what works and what is gonna make clients happy and what is not going to work and what is not gonna make you money because you're not making your clients happy.
So the best way to fast forward through making these mistakes yourself is to reach out to someone with experience and let them guide you with all their tips on how. Uh, fast forward through the experiences that they've already had. I've definitely tried to make things a lot easier for everyone else in this industry, especially in the smaller towns where these things are still kind of new and emerging, and the training is so hard to find versus in the city and maybe not exactly adapted towards our different unique lifestyles.
So now we have elevate beauty supply and our own lash lift and brow lift solution, which makes things really easy. People to start the service and have success right away, because there's zero chance of overprocessing brows and zero chance basically of under processing the brow too. So that means you're not ruining your client slashes for, or brows for three months and creating, uh, bad reputation.
While you're learning these services. And it also means that you're not wasting time having to redo these services. This product line also enhances the structure of the brow and the lash hair. So it's really conditioning and reinforcing. What's good with your client's hair structure. And instead of stripping with the traditional chemical-based products and not only that it's way less Chemi-based.
That means that you're not putting yourself in as much danger by performing these services back to back in a studio. Even if you have good ventilation. When I first started, I did, I think it was like six to eight back-to-back lash lifts. And I felt like I could barely walk after that. I. A little loopy.
And if you think about it, that those chemicals are doing something horrible to you, your health is something that money can't buy. So don't mess with that. My recommendation would be to opt for the less chemi-product line, because over time you don't wanna be sacrificing your health. We also have Elevate Beauty Education and we've made a live virtual course that I tailor specifically to each student's needs to make sure that you're going to be successful in the industry.
And so this course is not a one size fits all. I've never myself seen an online course that is similar to this, and I've really created it to help bring the classroom to you. Um, the way you need to do it, to make sure there is no bottom of the class. Everyone is successful. If you need a little bit more help, I am there for you.
If you need more personal hands-on attention, that's there for you too. If there's some stuff that you just get and you don't need to, we don't need to go over it tons. That's the awesome thing too. You don't have to sit in a classroom where there are other people who maybe don't get things that you just get, and it's a waste of time for you.
So there's really no excuse not to add these services into your businesses and be successful until the end of July. We also have a special. If you are already certified in lash lift or brow lift, I am giving away my training program for free with the purchase of our luxury brow and lash lift kit. And if you are new to the industry, totally, we are giving you a course for free when you buy, buy either your lash lift course or your bra lamination course, and will give you the other course for free with the purchase of your kit.
So it's never been easier. It's about five services only. That you need to perform before. You'll be recovering your money, and your investment back, and you'll be making money right away off of these. So I think it's a no-brainer. And if you were still not sure about it, DM me @elevatelash.ca because we should chat about how this could be super awesome for your business.
Like it has been for mine.
