BROW LAMINATION AFTERCARE

Typically, brow lamination can last up to 4-6 weeks depending on the natural hair growth because new hair will regrow in the old hair growth pattern just like in lash lift. Aftercare plays a vital role in helping your brow lamination last longer (water or steam within 24 hours can ruin your lift).

WHAT TO EXPECT

After the procedure, your brows will appear thicker, fuller, tamed, and sit comfortably in their optimal form.

Follow the aftercare tips below to make the most of your brow lamination:

  • Avoid water: It is important to avoid water for the first 24 hours after your brow lamination treatment. This means no washing your face, no showering, and no sweating. Water can cause the brows to become frizzy and can also drop your lift.
  • Gently brush brows: After the initial 24 hour period has passed, you can gently brush your brows with a spoolie brush. This helps keep them looking neat and tidy.
  • Avoid heavy makeup: It is best to avoid wearing any makeup on your brows for the first few days after your treatment. This allows the product to fully set and helps prevent any irritation or damage. This, along with self-tanning products, can also discolor your newly laminated brows.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, saunas, or pools for 48 hours: Direct sunlight, saunas, and pools can all cause the brow lamination product to break down and fade prematurely. If you must be in direct sunlight, be sure to wear a hat or other head covering to protect your brows.
  • Use a Brow Paste: A brow paste can be used to help keep the brows in place and can also help to prolong the life of your lamination.

How Often Should I Get My Brows Laminated?

Brow lamination is a temporary treatment, and it can last anywhere from four to eight weeks depending on natural hair growth.

If you want to keep your brow lamination looking fresh and fluffy, it is best to book a brow lamination fill every four to six weeks.
